TPO picked for innovative City of London project
“Business Healthy” is a programme of action to improve the health and well-being of workers in the City of London
TPO, together with Common Cause Consulting, one of its strategic partners, has been commissioned by the Corporation of London to design and deliver an innovative programme for business leaders in the City.
The centrepiece will be a high-profile Conference being hosted by the Lord Mayor in the Guildhall on 11 March 2014 which will include world-class speakers, workshops and international case studies.
But there is much more going on as well as Mark Butler explains
“I am delighted to be working again with Peter Molyneux on making this fascinating project happen.
It connects with my passion for improving people management and health at work through connecting together different professional groups in innovative ways, using the best research available.
“Business Healthy” is aiming to make a material difference to the health and well-being of workers in the City of London. Our job is to build more momentum behind action by big companies and statutory bodies which will improve the lives of City workers – the support and services on offer to them.
As well as the Conference we are putting together online resources to support action (a Business Healthy Lab) and supporting a Circle of leaders who we hope will provide further momentum after the Conference takes place.
It looks like there are already ideas developing about a Centre which will meet a gap in meeting the needs of the very transitory workforce in the City.
The “Business Healthy” website which is being updated weekly gives more on this project.
